Meet Fiona
My path to birth work wasn’t something I planned from the beginning — it was something I discovered along the way. For a long time, I searched for work that felt meaningful, something that combined my love for connecting with people with a desire to make an impact.
While at UT Austin, I explored many different paths, always waiting for something to click — something that screamed, “This is for YOU, Fiona!” When I discovered birth work, it was one of those rare moments where everything suddenly made sense. The more I continue to learn, the more I know: this is what I’m meant to do.
Since then, I’ve had the incredible privilege of supporting over 50 births in both hospital and out-of-hospital settings. Every birth has taught me something new and deepened my respect for how powerful, emotional, and transformative this experience can be. Being a part of such an intimate moment in someone’s life is something I never take lightly.
I’m a DONA-trained birth doula and an Advanced Certified Doula through The Labor Enabler Apprenticeship, and I bring both training and real-world experience to every family I support.
Houston is home for me. I grew up here and now live here with my fiancé and our two very spoiled cats. Outside of attending births, you’ll usually find me with a good book or enjoying my daily coffee ritual.
As your doula, my role is to be a steady presence through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I’m here to offer encouragement, comfort techniques, evidence-based information, and reassurance tailored to YOU. I am here to support you so that you step into your birth experience feeling seen, supported, and empowered.
